This medicated feed is designed to be fed as a complete feed to goats.
MEDICATED — For the prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria crandalis, Eimeria christenseni and Eimeria ninakohlyakimovae.
ACTIVE DRUG INGREDIENT – Monensin 20 g/ton
Cracked Corn, Dehulled Soybean Meal, Cane Molasses, Recleaned Whole Oats, Cottonseed Hulls (Not more than 7%), Animal Fat and Vegetable Oil, Calcium Carbonate, Rolled Barley, Suncured Alfalfa Meal, Wheat Middlings, Blood Meal, Ammonium Chloride, Salt, Ground Wheat, Rice Bran, Monocalcium Phosphate, Dicalcium Phosphate, Urea, Lignin Sulfonate, Brewer’s dried yeast, Dried Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentation solubles, Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminosilicate, Silicon Dioxide, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Dried Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Fermentation Product, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Oxide, Propionic Acid (a preservative), Zinc Sulfate, Selenium Yeast, Manganese Hydroxychloride, Zinc Hydroxychloride, Calcium Carbontate, Ferrous Sulfate, Copper Chloride, Cobalt Carbonate, Ethylenediamine Dihydriodide, Natural and Artificial Flavors added, Manganese Sulfate, Basic Copper Chloride, Cobalt Sulfate.
Each pound of this medicated feed contains 10 mg/lb of Monensin. Feed to growing and finishing goats at the rate of 1 to 5 lbs per head per day adjusting for desired weight gain and performance. Make any feeding changes gradual over a period of two weeks. Have free choice salt licks available. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Note: This product contains added copper and should not be fed to sheep. CAUTION: Do not allow horses or other equines access to feed containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by horses has been fatal. Monensin medicated cattle and goat feeds are safe for use in cattle and goats only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as reduced average daily gains may result. Do not feed to lactating goats.
